The Train Room
(Queen bed, private bath, for 2-3 persons)

This room is for train buffs, being gently rocked twice a day as the "Vermonter" rolls on by. The country cottage decor includes several quilts designed by the innkeeper and an unusual corner hutch which houses a small library. Great foliage views!

The Garden Room
(Queen bed, twin bed, private bath, for 2-3 persons)

This room is a special treat in all seasons, but especially in springtime, when the scent of apple blossoms drift in. You may even be lucky enough to hear a chorus of frogs during an early summer evening. Views include gardens, ponds and forest. The largest of the rooms, it can easily accommodate a small family.

The Birdhouse Room
(Two twin beds, private bath, for 2 persons)

The Birdhouse Room is cheery and overlooks one of the veggie gardens and chicken coop. It is bright, has lots of windows and the best view of the surrounding mountains. This room is ideal for traveling companions or children. It even has a bluebird house perched on an exposed original hand hewn beam!

Rates

$125/night, plus $25/extra person beyond 2, plus VT Tax (9%)

All rates include a hearty, healthy breakfast and arrival refreshments! Please refer to the Payments/Policies page for additional information.

Breakfast

All breakfasts are specially prepared and include local, organically grown foods as are seasonally available. In fact we grow much of it ourselves right here on the farm. Please mention any dietary preferences when making your reservation.

We Are Green!

Johnnycake Flats has been awarded the distinction of being a “Green Hotel in the Green Mountain State” by the Agency of Natural Resources. Our inn is recognized as a leader in the ecotourism movement by choosing environmentally friendly business green hotelpractices such as recycling, composting, towel/linen reuse, efficiency lighting and chemical reduction where possible. We use locally and organically grown fruits, vegetables and eggs whenever seasonally available. In fact we grow much of it ourselves right here on the farm.
